What are you looking forward to most...

...in 2010?

- We'll celebrate our 1-year anniv this May.

- We are going to visit our friends and their new baby in Wisconsin this summer.

- I am hoping to get into grad school and/or find a better job.

- I also think that this is the year that I'll start taking better care of myself.

EDIT: On a lighter note, I am excited for the first installment of the last Harry Potter movie coming out this year!

You?

    - vacationing with my parents and brother's family here: http://www.homeaway.com:80/vacation-rental/p235433

-ripping up the carpet in the laundry room (who carpets a laundry room? The same person who carpets a bathroom, blech.) and putting down ceramic tile.

-getting a new entry door that doesn't leak air and stick closed horribly. Thanks, Mom and Dad, for that AWESOME Christmas present.

-getting my daughter back into horse shows in the fall.

-having a daughter in middle school. Okay, maybe that one not so much, as that means that I am getting older.

I'm looking forward to hosting "Cooking with C" evenings. It will make me search out some new, fun, fairly easy recipes.
  • Get married, finally.

Hopefully find a different job, or get to a point financially where I can quit working and go to school full-time.

    That's about it so far.
  • I think you have to wait until November for that movie, ggmae!

My fiance and I are sitting here watching the Half Blood Prince ...for the 100th time.

It's super exciting but our lease isn't up until the end of August so we've got 8 more months.  We need that time to be able to save up for cars and stuff anyway but now that we now where we want to go we just want to go NOW.  Ya know?

Selling our house - 3rd year at trying.

  • mRm - Okay, so I know what a mare is but wasn't sure about the foaling part, so I googled it and AH!

Mag - Sounds like an exciting year for you! Still crossing my fingers that the house will work out (and for a baby too? I can cross them for that as well!)

Julez - I hear ya. We have this idea of wanting to move back down South but we can't for a few years, so I feel kind of stuck. I mean, I'm happy to be here with family and friends but I feel a bit stuck as well.

  • - Visiting good friends in the Midwest
    - Getting my PMP
    - Studying for and taking the GMAT
    - Trip to Hawaii in February!
    - Moving in with FI!
