A previous post I wrote told about a friend (who thinks we're better friends than we are) asking when her bridesmaids dress fitting was when I had never asked her to be a bridesmaid. I just told her that I was sorry but as I'm paying for dresses etc I restricted it to my two sisters and best friend (which is true) because funds are limited. That wasn't taken so well but I just left it and try not to bring up the wedding wherever possible. Unfortunately she's a persistent sort of a person that doesn't take hints so well so she has hinted a couple more times that if any of my bridal party were to drop out (which wouldn't happen) she'd LOVE to fill in. All this is fine, a wee bit annoying but fine. The frustrating thing is that she has tried to interfere with my best friends organising of the bridal shower. She and my best friend don't know each other but she found her on facebook and messaged her saying that she would be happy to throw the shower as she knows me so well that she'd be able to do something I'd really like. My best friend has politely declined and has told her that she's got it under control but the friend (who I shall refer to as N) just doesn't seem to get it. I know that N has a bit of a jealousy issue with my best friend which I ignored but now it's really interfering with my wedding! What should I do!? I've tried being polite, I don't want to have to be explicit about her not being a bridesmaid but I'm starting to feel as if I have choice!
