Should I invite

Hi All

I am at the really really early stages of planning, we are just purchasing rings but I have had a nagging question I would like to get out of the way. I have been reading over the boards, I know I will defiantly get some honest options and stories if anyone have the same "relationships"

My future Husband has a child with another woman, she is from the our home town where we do now reside (i have never been friends with her) but dosnt live here anymore.

Of course the son will be at the wedding, but do we invite her to the wedding?

No need to invite her, UNLESS she will get bent out of shape for not being invited, and in turn be resentful towards you and your FI and cause drama down the road about it, taking it out on your FI.  Its not worth the headache.  I don't know their relationship though.

No, there's no need to invite her to the wedding, unless you guys are on good terms with her and want her there.

I am in the same situation and I let my FI make that call. We've been together the last 5 years, so I have a lot of interactions with his ex, and because our son thinks of us as a big family-- he wanted us to all move in togehter in one big house-- I was fine with inviting her. If your FI wants to invite her, I wouldn't object, but if he doesn't bring it up, I wouldn't worry about inviting her.
