I got the jerky today! It's absolutely delicious, and I'm really glad I opened the envelop in the mail room and had a bite, because I'm fairly sure my H is going to devour it all in one sitting. Thanks you so much! You're too sweet.

Jerky is one of my favorite foods. My H thinks it's gross when I eat it and I don't care.

It's deer jerky, which is better than beef jerky, IMO.

I've never had deer. I like jerky, though.

It's similar in texture to beef. You can cut it into a tenderloin, or steaks, or grind it like beef. It's gamier tasting though. I grew up eating it at almost every meal in the wintertime, so it's commonplace for me. Some people that I've met that have only tried it as adults don't like it.
