My little brother passed away when he was 5, almost 20 years ago. Our wedding date will be on what would have been his 26th birthday. That date happens to fall on a Saturday next year, so what better day to celebrate and have a wedding? I asked my family and they all think it's a sweet idea.
I want to honor him in some way. I want to make mention of it being his birthday. But I don't want it to turn in to this creepy half wedding/half deceased brothers birthday. I think he deserves a little more than just a blip in the program, but I don't want to go too far. Any ideas on what would be appropriate? Thanks.
