Gift help - Impossible to shop for Mother

Hi everybody!

I'm at my wits' end here with last-minute planning stuff (who thought getting married right after Christmas was a good idea??), last-minute Christmas gift exchange errors (my sister-in-law was listed twice, my fiance was left out, and I ended up with him since somebody else already got a gift for who my mom THOUGHT I had, and "nobody else could return what they had gotten"... we had already decided not to exchange gifts, and since my SIL is a Christmas baby, my mom just bought my Christmas presents for her from me to give to her as birthday presents.....).  Sorry, venting. Anyway, the last few things I've given my mom, she's tried to give them back to me, thinking that I'd have better use for them than she would.  Guess I still haven't gotten a handle on her style of things ;)

Any ideas??  She already has her jewelry for the cermony picked out, I don't love the thought of giving a picture of myself (or, in this case, us), but a nice frame might be a good idea (suggested to me by my oldest brother, who is awesome at giving gifts)...

I appreciate any help you all have to offer!!

Thanks a lot!!!

Re: Gift help - Impossible to shop for Mother

  • Well, for the wedding I got my mom a picture frame, it is double. The right side I put a really nice poem I wrote.... and the left side is left blank. I wrote in the card that any picture she wants I'll get from the photog. and she can put in there (this can be the whole family, her and my father, us, whatever).
  • Spa gift certificate? That's my go-to gift. Or a certificate for dinner out.
  • Scratch my crap gift idea... SPA
