Thank you for your presence

Hi Ladies,
So I was browsing Wedding Paper Divas and noticed they have an assortment of "Thank you for sharing our day" cards and I was wondering if I missed something?
I sent out thank yous for all the gifts, cards, etc. ages ago but I never sent out a general card to everyone just thanking them for coming. Should I have done this?
I've never gotten a card like this before but it seems like such a nice thing to do. Should I have sent out cards thanking them for coming or am I just making work for myself?

Re: Thank you for your presence

  • You're just  making work for yourself.  The reception is the thank you for coming.  Some people consider sending a thank you card to people to did not bring a gift to be somewhat gift grabby, like you're pointing out that they did not bring a gift.

I hadn't even thought of that, but it makes sense. Thanks!
  • I had cards printed up matching our invitations that were a "Thank you for sharing our day".  They will be at the reception on the dinner plates when they arrive.
