Bridesmaids Hair/Makeup Question

Does the bride pay for the bridesmaids hair and makeup to get done?

If you require/request them to have it done, you pay for it.

If you make them get their hair/make-up professionally done, then you foot the bill. If it's just an option and they choose to take it, then they pay.

I requested all girls get their hair done each girl wants to, but i simply cant afford for 5 girls to get their hair done. So ill pay half and they pay half. And. This might be old fashioned, my mom says usually the girls pay for your hair not the other way around. But im not having them do that. Just ask your girls if they can afford it or how much can they afford and go from there. I dont think it is improper not to pay for them.

I can do my hair better than a lot of professionals do I would be pretty ticked if someone required me to pay someone to do a crappy job

If you require it, you should pay for it.

My MOH, Mother of the groom, sister of the groom, flower girl, and I are getting hair, makeup, and nails. It's optional for all involved, but if they want to be included we will pay.

You can also say "I'm getting my hair done at Salon X, their prices for up-dos are $Y and for down-dos are $Z.  Let me know if you would like me to make you an appointment.  If you choose to do your own hair, we will meet back at K place at V o'clock."
