meeting with officiant tomorrow

ok so i'm meeting with my officiant tomorrow for the first time and I have no idea what I am supposed to be finding out or asking him about the ceremony or anything. Can someone clue me in on what questions I should be asking?

The #1 thing for me was that our officiant was able to work with DH's religious faith and my not-so-religious-faith. We were able to design a ceremony that worked for the both of us and our different beliefs.

  • If you have a secular reading that you want involved or secular ceremony and if it can be coordinated in?

anything the church does not allow re: decorations such as aisle runners, petals, anything that might be thrown afterwards, altar arrangements (some churches actually require that you bring them- and then leave them) --

time restraints with the church, how long before/after can you take pictures, have to have everything out of there...

does he/she personalize cermonies beyond substituting names?
