I heard rumor a few days ago that the new Apple product would be the iPad, but I was seriously hoping the leak had the name wrong. WTF? iPad? Does it have wings and super absorbency so all the data won't leak out of it too? What a stupid product name.

Ew.  Since it's supposed to be a tablet computer, iTab would have been a lot better IMO.

I get why they want to say iPad since it's only a letter different from iPod, but...no.

Ya know, I hate to sell my sould to Apple sometimes, but they've already got a piece of it with my phone, so what the hell.  I really like the book reader option, and if Apple can get more books than Amazon on it's elibrary, I'd buy it.  Definately.

So to me it just seems like an over-sized i-Phone on which you can't place calls? Am I close? I think I'd prefer a keyboard.

This is our problem too, I hate the proprietary crap.  But I do love the iphone functionality, and I want to go try this ipad now.  So, yeah....
