Poll: Do we send an invitation suite to our vendors?

I want to send one to our photographer, but do we need to send them to everyone else?

  • I think you're supposed to invite the officiant (and spouse?) to the reception, but not the rest of them.  I didn't invite anyone other than the priest.  He didn't come.
  • I'm not sending an invite to anyone I am paying..

We are having our ceremony and reception in the same location. Our invite suite is just an invitation, a map, and a response card. If we sent the Reverend an invite to the reception only, we'd need to come up with something new. Would the invite as is suffice?

    Thank you!

  • If you consider your officiant a vendor, then yes to him/her and spouse. No one else requires it, though I would make sure they know whether they are getting a vendor meal.

I would send one or give one to your florist, all the details they get about the look and feel of your wedding, the better they are going to be able to complement it.
