invitation wording

I do plan on putting the hosts name of the invitation because my parents are divorced and remarried. Since my dad is paying for it I know he and his wife are the hosts, well... I cant put (dad) & (stepmom) request the presence blah blah... because my mom would be very upset.
so.. what are some alternatives to this.
i found this one that im not such a huge fan of:

With loving joy we ask you to be present at the wedding uniting (bride) & (groom)

ok ladies, lets hear some ideas!!
