I did not mean for my statement to come across as it did, and then I just got mad that people jumped down my throat and my mouth( or fingers in this case) got ahead of my brain. I know that in different cities, states, and countries that whether you make 25k of 250k is relative to where you are. I didn't mean to imply just because you make X amount that you are rich either. I just wanted to aplogize for how that came across. (And that I called you a rich snob.) I know that everyone is entiled to a whiney moment and we can just count that as mine for the month.

 

P.S. I think I just need to stay off  The Knot until finals are over. *sheepish grin*

    Well it pisses me off. Being young isn't an excuse for ignorance. I'm 23. Mandy is 22-23. You don't see either one of us EVER acting this way. And finals? Not that hard. At least not hard enough to cause you to flip the fuuck out on someone.

    Just because I am in college don't assume you know how old I am. I was in the Army for four years before I went to college.

    I don't see the big deal with getting older (to a certain point). Just usually means you have more money to do stuff. Unless you're up to you're eyeballs in debt, you useless saver ;)

    Oh, they were really, really hard for me to. And I did stress the fuuck out. But I never once went off on a tirade against a stranger. I may have picked fights with H, but never went psycho on a website.

    Birdie- H is turning 33 in March and same thing, he still gets carded for chew, even if he has his winter beard which I think makes him look hella old

    and finals are stressful but taking it out on web forum = not cool, go bitch to a study buddy or have a beer os something instead

    I am still pretty young (24) but I ALWAYS get carded. Some bouncer actually tried to not let me into the bar the other night. He thought I was using a fake ID. I had to show him my social security card to get in. Also I got carded buying a bottle of wine from a convenience store in Prague! As in the Czech Republic, where the drinking age barely even exists!

    Basically, I feel his pain. I feel like this is my future.

    Amoro, our birthdays are really close!  Mine is Jan. 18th.  Woohoo Capricorns!  I'll be 32... I think I'm ok with it.  I still get carded all the time, too. (Although my mom said I didn't look that young anymore- RUDE!)

    My mom got carded one time when I was with her at the grocery store.  I wasn't young either - I think I was maybe 9 or 10.  My mother was 35.  Yeah.
