This was a very interesting thread to read! Unfortunately, I don't have access to a lot of this stuff, but I might be grabbing some things when I am home!

I usually take Benadryl and Aleve and drink hot tea with lots of honey. I've also been known to drink a cup of chicken bouillon. Oh, and my neti pot. That gets busted out during allergy season and whenever I'm sick.

For the cough, I like to put a heating pad on my chest. It helps with sore muscles and seems to make the coughing thing much more bearable.
