Help!
I'm having a rather large bridal party, (10 people plus their SO) Plus my grandparents have to be there, my large immediate family and my FI's family. We're looking at 35-40 people just with that. My FMIL wants to include all out of town guests, not just family (they're from MI, I'm from PA which is where all my family still is). My parents are totally against a big rehearsal dinner. We're having the dinner at my parents house, so space at dinner isn't a problem, it's price and the invite list. The problem is that if we invite all of his family and friends from out of town we have to invite all my family and friends as well. That bumps it from a rather reasonable number to close to 100 people. Even if we don't invite friends, just family would take it to almost 60 with my family and his family.
What do I do?? Do I stick to the bare minimum or do I give my FMIL what she wants and invite everyone from out of town and my extended family or do I just invite extended family?
