Re: Stealing from SB- Ask a Knottie Anything

• Drink- Vodka cranberry, vodka & diet coke, pretty much vodka with anything. I get sick with most other things, and I have no quite developed the taste for wine.

Anna- Have you met the President? You do not have to answer if this is some national security thing I am just curious. I would love to meet him! :)

I think mayo is among the most disgusting things on the planet. I have weird food issues too though.

Has anyone ever seen the episode or Maury or whatever where people have crazy phobias? One was a pickle phobia. It was sad and hilarious all at the same time.
In Response to Re: Stealing from SB- Ask a Knottie Anything : I would not be able to be friends with this person. I put ketchup on everything. H makes faces at that too (especially when I "ruin" mac and cheese with it).

I just projectile vomited on my computer screen. I hope you're happy.

Ketchup is NASTY.

• Cfasz his first suggestion was Elizabeth, and I know why- because he loves Pride & Prejudice (he's such a girl sometimes). I like the name, it's fine, but I was hoping for something a little more unusual. Also hellooooo we are totally going to Carlyle brunch after this behbeh for a couple (dozen) Bellinis.

Alcoholic beverage: hard cider or wine, it's a tossup. I guess it depends on the occassion.
Currently, I have Mizunos, but previously had Brooks. My feet are truly messed up, so I definitely have to be measured and observed when I buy shoes. Roller coasters and free fall rides are the best. Love eggs in salad. Love Evelyn! My niece is Evangelina ("Evy") or I'd want to use Evelyn myself! To everyone: what's your favorite alcoholic beverage?
Posted by Moneypenny424
Malty or belgian-style craft beer
smokey scotch or scotch drinks, like an old fashioned or whiskey sour
real margarita on the rocks (lemon, lime, tequila, cointreau)
cengle and TR -- H actually feels angry if he sees mayonnaise and especially if it's accidentally put on a sandwich of his. I don't love mayonnaise, but I use it for egg or tuna salad or rarely on sandwiches. I used to make my own mayonnaise and hide it in tupperware when we were engaged, but now that we eat together all the time, I can't imagine being able to hide it from him. Yes, I'm the foodie who married the guy with the weird food phobias (mayonnaise, cilantro and nutmeg are the big ones, although he has a long list of other rules). My friends and family think it's hilarious.

Mine doesn't have food phobias but he doesn't like cotton, sounds of pencils or crayons on paper (really works out with a 5 year old in the house huh? lol), anything cold touching him. I could go on and on. Drives me bananas.

• Cfas - My favorite is Starfighters of Adumar. Hence, the name thing. It's about some of the Rogue pilots, if you haven't read it. Highly recommended.

I stopped reading not too long after Chewie died. Things kinda went crazy after that.

I love sangria. And mimosas. And nearly any frozen, sweet drink.

• Alcoholic beverage: I'm not much of one for alcohol, but I do love a strawberry daiquiri when the weather is right.
image
• Oh, alcohol- I LOVE beer. Love it a lot. Good beer, not shiity beer. I like craft beers, usually wheats and Belgian witbiers. But I also really love trippels, they're just too expensive for everyday drinkin'.

• All the mayo lovers out there: next time you make grilled cheese don't butter the bread, spread mayo instead and just wait until you taste how delicious the grilled cheese is.

• I knew a guy who wouldn't eat any orange food (the color, which I guess means the fruit too). That was weird.

I want a daughter too. I had a sister growing up, and I'm just not used to being around a bunch of boys. H has three brothers, and he'd love it if we only had boys because he thinks he'd punch any guy who tried to date a daughter of ours.

• mica- not going to lie, not drinking has been incredibly hard. I like to sniff other people's wine.

shannon- I just walked past the White House to get to lunch, does that count?

kikibot- friends off. Ketchup is AWESOME. my brother used to drink it out of the bottle. Ok, that's gross.
• I like ketchup, though we are not permitted to have Heinz in our house. FI takes his anti-Steelers hatred to a disturbing level.
I've always wanted a daughter, but I was a trying child in the baby/toddler stage - never wanted to be held, always had to be investigating, running around, doing experiements, doing art projects, asking questions. My brother was super laid-back and cuddly as a baby. So basically, I'm sure I'll be cursed with a kid like me.

Sounds like my children exactly. Wow!

• It is SO good. The mayo really gets the bread to a golden delicious crispy-ness that butter just can't do.

• Sorry, Kiki :(

I made you these to make up for it:

• TR- I guess this is pretty regular, corn on the cob, mayo, parmesan cheese, and then butter. Super sick to me but it happens a lot in LA and sometimes in my town as well. I think they are called "Alotes" or something like that. My husband LOVES them, he even sometimes makes them at home for dinner.
• Shannon-I have not met the president. I'm not that important. I've met a handful of senators and representatives plus one or two people that might be running for president in 2012.

My FI has spent more time here and met more people, including W. His aunt has worked up here forever and can usually get tickets to cool events but Obama has really cut back on this sort of thing.

I will definitely try this!

The plus of this is that it will keep H from eating my grilled cheese!
• Pink - I would except the cheese part makes me want to gag right now.

Anna - I just had vino verde last weekend too and I liked it a lot! H is trying to introduce me to all different kinds of wines now that he's getting a free case of wine a month.

This would be a deal breaker for me!

I live for condiments. Except ketchup - I can only deal with that on fries, but I also love salt and vinegar on fries. But things like aioli, mustard, salsa, hot sauce - bring it on. I used to not like mayo, but now I think it's fine. I also like anything creamy, which usually involves mayo. I hate miracle whip, though and my grandmother always used to use it. NOT the same thing as mayo.

• Shannyn, you didn't ask this of me, but my dad has met the current and last President. Bush twice, Obama once.

Drinks: Captain and Coke, SoCo and Coke. Once upon a time, I liked LI Iced Teas and Bahama Mamas; I don't know if I still would or not.

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

• I ♥ ketchup too. I'm a fan of all condiments.
