Offensive Halloween Costumes?

CN: Slideshow of various costumes that are racially/ethnically offensive, inappropriate for children, or just plain stupid, according to the authors of the post. Also included is a blerp about Ohio U students' campaign to discourage purchases of racial/cultural costumes. 

I totally agree with some of them, mainly the kid's pimp costume (wtf?), but children wearing white sheets? As a ghost? I mean, I definitely can see the KKK resemblence, but isn't that a litte much? I seriously doubt most kids who would come up with that costume are trying to resemble klansmen. 

Any to be honest, I think the chick wearing the Snookie outfit looks pretty good, and definitely better than the real deal.

Thoughts?

Someone approached them about it.  Turns out they were international, and their "friend" told them to wear it.  They really didn't understand the history behind it, and once it was explained to them, they took their costumes off.
