XP: cookbook

Hi everyone!
So, I'm trying to collect recipes for a cookbook I want to put together. Well, I guess technically 2 cookbooks. One for dinner type foods, and one for desserts.

What are some of your most favorites in either of these catagories?

A real winner in my family in the dessert category is gingerbread trifle. I use homemade lemon curd, but otherwise I stick pretty close to the recipe.
