Random thing from the past

I was thinking of started a "crazy house blog" about all of my experiences and hopefully about buying a house. So I went to blogspot and discovered a blog I had started in 2007. My first post was living with my ex's grandmother, and my second post was when my dad almost lost his hand. My third was the first time I brought my rats home. It's like reading a diary that you completely forgot about and sort of weird.

That's it :) move along

Re: Random thing from the past

  • My bestfriend and I used to save our messenger conversations from HS. I love pulling those up when I'm bored. They are truly amazing and hilarious
  • I was just thinking today that I might start a blog. I doubt anyone would read it, but it might keep me entertained over the summer when I'm bored and jobless.

I printed out several of my AIM conversations (particularly  drunk ones) from college, those are fun to read. I also actually did find a diary from a long time ago and read the whole thing like a book. It's interesting to read it like that, it's almost hard to remember having such vivid emotions about things that don't seem to matter anymore. At least that's how I felt, but probably because the diary was from grades 7-11. :)

  • I'm with you Mags, anything from those ages 12-16 makes me feel all embarassed. For some reason I thought I had the worst life in the world. I realize now how good I had it.
  • oh my yes! I remember reading a diary entry from my freshman year of high school and just thinking "what on earth was I doing?" or reading entries from when I was depressed in high school (and borderline suicidal) and just crying at how hopeless I felt.

So far I've written about the first 2 houses we went too. If anyone reads it it will definitely give a different view of "the home buying experience"

and now I'm watching House Hunters International (which tells you I'm in a much better mood) and holy crap...I'm moving to England!
  • I love going back and reading all of my old diaries. Man was I dramatic for a 10 year old.
  • My best friend and I had a notebook we passed back and forth where we'd write notes to each other. I still have that along with some circle journals I did with pen pals.

  • Haha I recently found my old high school diary and read it cover to cover.  Holy drama.  It was like reading scripts from the new 90210.  Undecided
  • I have a blog and several diaries that I should archive somewhere.  It was a lot of high school all written down.
