::Drool:: Sarah, you may be interested...

How fantastic are these button bouquets? Since she makes them for a living, I'm sure they're out the butt expensive, but they're awesome. I may be leaning towards them more and more...

I am not Sarah, but I am interested!  And how awesome is the name of that website?

EDIT: I am not seeing prices?  Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places.  Also, ew Tom's shoes.
  • She's just kind of all around adorable
  • Ah ha!  I found prices.  Scroll UP Kimberly!  Up!
  • I'm a Sarah, but not the Sarah, but that's gorgeous! I want one!
  • Mrs. Jesse...that one is really pretty. And that head band...lust.
  • Oooh that headband is making me fall in love with it.
  • Oh man, those are gorgeous. I think I definitely have the button bouquet bug. I'm going to save these for inspiration and see if I'm crafty enough to make cool ones of my own!

I've got plenty of time to make them, so even if I only do a few at a time, I should be able to get there. FI's aunt was talking about also doing button flowers for our centerpieces, but I think that's a bit too much. I don't think I want to commit to making thousands of them.

Yeah, I was just thinking about that. They're awesome, but I don't know that I want to use them everywhere, or if I'd want to mix in real flowers too. I'm not crafty at all. But for some reason, wedding planning has me thinking that I'm Martha flippin Stewart. At least I have time to attempt all of the things I want, and if I can't make them, I've become an Etsy expert <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif" border="0" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" />
  • I found these bouquets in a steampunk wedding set on Offbeat Bride and they're the ones that really got me going (they're even in our wedding colors):

This particular bride and groom also made little flags that say "Yay!" on them for people to wave, and we really like that idea too. Kind of Monty Python-y:

  • The flags are adorable Sarah! Your wedding ideas always make me smile.
  • I love those yay flags!  I also saw somewhere instead of the rice toss, everyone flew paper airplanes in the wedding colors.  It made for really cute pictures, but I would want to wear goggles.

Haha, I already had to make a "no goggles" rule for our wedding. I don't want this whole steampunk thing to turn into a Halloween party. :)

Also, this is a relief. I've been afraid to mention them because I thought everybody would think they were too much like ribbon wands.... :)

  • Oh, it would in no way be a fashion statement.  Eye safety!  Pointy airplanes coming at your face!
  • Those flags are adorable, sarah, especially since you made the MP connection. Hm.... I'm having inspiration... I was thinking about making a banner for the entrance, like "Just married" or "Celebrate," but maybe it could be "And there was much rejoicing!"

  • Those are awesome.  Everyone's jacking Bec's style now.  (kidding, but she's really the first person I've ever seen do button bouquets.  So in my mind, she invented them).
  • Ha! Thanks heels, but I definitely did NOT invent them. I actually saw this blog back when I was looking to do my own, but the felt is NMS. I actually added How To in my bio for button bouquets, if you girls want to try it out. Just substitute felt for the ribbon flower step.

If my DH ever finds out about the MPish flags, I'll be done for. Those would have been SO awesome. He is such a fan!
