Caterer stuff

I have a final meeting with our caterer/reception venue on Friday.  Is there anything I should ask that I may not think to ask?

Re: Caterer stuff

  • These might be things you've already thought to ask but:

Do you have to clear out your decor that night or can you come back the next day to pick everything up?

Times you can have access to the venue to decorate and rehearsal.

Make sure they know what times you vendors will be showing up, like florist and DJ, if applicable.

I really was about to say all of those things.
  • Okay, that's what we'll cover in addition to my stuff.

    Thank you for your help.

  • How about, can they handle extra people if people didn't rsvp show up anyway and weren't included in the head count?
  • Just reaching for ideas, since so much has already been covered:

Is your venue providing the cake? If so, do you have to have the topper or other decor to them in advance?
  • Opal, cake is from elsewhere.  I think I'm good.

  • Night. . . check the number of servers/etc.  Make sure it's enough.  One bartender for 150 guests = long lines at cocktail hour.
