1. How did you and FI/DH meet? At a baby shower. He was bribed to go by the father-to-be with beer. I wooed him with my extensive and useless knowledge of celebrity babies during Baby Jeopardy
2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it? Cheesecake Factory. He was so shy, which was both awesome and kinda weird. I've always dated big talkers - it was nice to be with a sincere listener
3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? He sent roses to the office and gave me gift cards to Starbucks and Petsmart for my birthday
4. Is there anything about him that bugs the crap out of you? If so, what?  He tends to not answer questions, i.e. I'll ask what time he'll be home and he'll tell me all the things he has to do, as though I can calculate in my head how long it'll take to do it all and come up with a time.

1. How did you and FI/DH meet? we met online - I was moving and wanted to meet new people and we started talking and eventually met
2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it? We went to starbucks and he didnt end up getting the drink he wanted, then we went back to his house and kind of had sex... it worked out in the end I suppose!
3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? he bought me a dvd of meet me in st louis because he remembered me mentioning once how much I loved that movie.
4. Is there anything about him that bugs the crap out of you? If so, what? Hahah theres tons. TONS! I love him but he irritates the crap out of me something fierce sometimes.

1. How did you and FI/DH meet? In college, at a party... I was dating some one else at the time and didn't even want to be at the party but the magic happened anyway
2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it? Well, since we met in college around the time of spring break and spring weekend we really did more of the drinking beer and hooking up thing than dates But after college ended for the year I he took me out to a real date at the Cheesecake factory (swear to god whit!) Nothing crazy happened except he was really embarassed that he didn't have cash on him to tip the valet and I just covered it. I still ask to this day if he has cash for the valet just to tease him.
3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? Flowers with a card that said, "love is beyong words when it is meant to be" (yeah we fell in love FAST.) I brought the card to my wedding day here:



4. Is there anything about him that bugs the crap out of you? If so, what? He makes super loud noises in his sleep. grrrrrrrr.

1. How did you and FI/DH meet? A mutual friend introduced us at a documentary film festival in NYC.  Like 15 minutes later he'd already forgotten my name b/c he has such a bad memory. 
2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it? It took him months to convince me to start dating him.  Our first real date was at this yummy noodle place. 
3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? Cookie of the month club for a year for my birthday.  I knew then that he was a total keeper and we'd only been together a couple weeks.
4. Is there anything about him that bugs the crap out of you? If so, what? The bad memory thing drives me up the wall sometimes.  We will have the same conversation multiple times and it's all new to him every.single.time.  Especially annoying b/c I have a stellar memory.

1. How did you and FI/DH meet? We were introduced by his best friend, a few weeks before his friend and I started sorta-dating. We didn't actually start going out until four years later.

2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it? I wasn't sure whether it was a date or not. He took me out for ice cream, and the whole time, I was sitting there staring at him thinking that I couldn't believe I was sitting there with someone so gorgeous. Our first kissy date was two weeks later, to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? Hm... he got me this beautiful white sweater for our first Christmas. He's actually remarkably good at picking out clothes for me.

4. Is there anything about him that bugs the crap out of you? If so, what? He's messy. In a kind of frightening way.

5. Do you have a picture to share of your lov-ah? I'm always happy to share pictures. Here he is the first time he ever did fieldwork with me.

1. How did you and FI/DH meet? - a mutual friend's birthday party. He was on vacation, living in New Zealand at the time.
2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it? Well, we hung out on Halloween a few days after meeting, but first solo date ended up lasting about 36 hours. I remember we went to Del taco!
3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? - The first one I remember was our first Christmas together - Michael Kors bag. I LOVE purses.
4. Is there anything about him that bugs the crap out of you? If so, what? - Sometimes he's TOO nice. I'm like, "make a decision and stick to it, damn the consequences."

1. How did you and FI/DH meet? Where I used to work- at Aldo.   he came in for a return and I worked super hard to make him not return it.  He came back around a few times, and finally asked me out. 
2. Where did you go for your first date? Everywhere!! We first went to this kind of hippie, natural food restaurant for breakfast, then we drove around town, went shopping for wine for a house party he was going to that night.   By that time it was lunch, and we had lunch for about 2 hours!

Anything awesome or disastrous about it? I think it was awesome that we hung out for about 9 hours and it was never awkward or weird.  Just fun!

3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? A necklace from a boutique in Chicago.
4. Is there anything about him that bugs the crap out of you? If so, what? He doesn't hang up laundry properly no matter how many times I show him/tell him/ask him.

2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it?I wanted sushi and he did not tell me he did not like it but he took me anyway to a place called Stix. He ordered something like chicken stir fry, which he also does not like. I found out later that he does not like sushi but wanted to make me happy.
3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? Oh lord it was our first Chriastmas. He bought me a 100 GC to VS, a stand mixer, a stairmaster, and something else. He spend about 2000 on me lol.

1. How did you and FI/DH meet? - He tried to get my attention for a year and I ignored him, then I came out to AZ on business and he asked to take me to dinner as one last shot, and we've been together ever since.

2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it? - We went to the Five n Diner, then we went with a co-worker of mine (business trip) to a bar called Plush in Tucson. Nothing too disasterous, except it was my first experience with monsoon season.

3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? - Chibi Kakashi and Gaara dolls to protect my desk during tax season. Long before we were together.

4. Is there anything about him that bugs the crap out of you? If so, what? - Sighs and eyerolls. All the time with the sighs and eyerolls.

We met in 6th grade band class. He was the little cute red head in the back row. We didn't talk much until our Junior year of high school when we had a class together and we really go to know one another.

2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it?
We went to see Shrek 2. It was embarassing because he didn't have a car, and mine was in the shop, so my mom had to drive us! HA!

He bought me this zip-up black sweat from Old Navy for our first Christmas. I still have it.

Yeah... we haven't been back. Ha. I was coming out to Tucson from Maryland and he lived in Phoenix, so he kind of just figured out what was near my hotel as best he could.

Um...I was sort of on a date with his stepbrother.

2. Where did you go for your first date?
We went on a lot of group dates (we were in high school, and both super shy) We went sledding for our first date, and he and his brother started play wrestling...on a sled. The sled shot down the hill and his brother ended up with a torn rotator cuff.

A gold & sapphire heart shaped necklace. I lost it

He will only drink half of something, and then leave it sitting. I cleared 3 half empty Dt. Coke cans off of his desk this morning.He's also terrible about writing down important information.

1. How did you and FI/DH meet?  When we were 16 and 17 when I worked with his sister at a 50s diner.  Eventually he worked there too and about a month after that we started to date.
2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it?  I think it was either the football game our high schools played against each other and/or we saw "The Grudge" with two of my friends.  Oh high school....
3. What was the first gift he ever bought you?  Daisies I think...

1. How did you and FI/DH meet? We met freshman year when our social studies teacher assigned his seat in front of me (she will be invited to the wedding because every time she would see us throughout High School she would say, "You two are still together?!?")
2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it?  We started dating at 15, so you don't really go out on "dates", but we did watch a movie in his bedroom
3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? ....Wow, I'm not sure.  Probably the flowers his mom made him get me when we went to our first formal dance sophomore year of High School.   He knew I hated flowers so he was so embarrassed to give them to me!

1. How did you and FI/DH meet? We actually met in seventh grade; he was a bully that picked on me But in tenth grade we started talking and eventually dating. And here we are years later counting down to get hitched

2. Where did you go for your first date? Anything awesome or disastrous about it? We went to the movies because I really wanted to see Corpse Bride. Haha. Anyway, some friends were there and sat with us. One of them burst into tears halfway through the movie and stormed out. Then cussed us out (after we all found her) for reminding her of her relationship with her ex boyfriend. Weird.

3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? It's a tie between my heavy duty digital camera and a Coach bag. I use (and love) both all the time. He knows me so well. (I love photography and I love Coach).

I can suggest ten places for dinner, and he says "I don't know. Which one do you want to eat at?" Does he want to go see a movie? "I don't know. Do you want to go see a movie?" Just going to throw it out there that, yes I look like I'm 12. However, no I am not. I'm cursed to take after my mom. She is almost 43 and could pass for someone ten years younger.

1. How did you and FI/DH meet? My sister saw him at a party at MSU, called me, and gave him the phone. We met the next day and have been together ever since.
2. Where did you go for your first date? Champps Anything awesome or disastrous about it? He kept rubbing his face and avoiding eye contact.  I thought it was because he wasn't interested, but he told me later that he was so nervous because I was "the hottest girl he has ever been on a date with."
3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? Flowers....I got them every time I saw him (we were in a long distance relationship) for about the first six months.

We saw "Stranger than Fiction," and neither one of us was sure whether it was a date or just two friends from work hanging out.  Anything awesome or disastrous about it? After a lull in the conversation he apologized for being nervous and said "I haven't been on a date in a long  time."  I brazenly asked "Oh?  So this is a date?  Like, with kissing at the end?" 
3. What was the first gift he ever bought you? A really cool hat for Christmas. 
4. Is there anything about him that bugs the crap out of you? If so, what? He consistently underestimates how long things will take, so he's always late.
