So a few days back I asked you all for advice about my FI's friends wedding. They asked for money for their honeymoon on the wedding website. (They said it was tradition in their culture which it is) I knew they were not hurting for cash and since it wasn't a full on cultural event I felt uncomfortable giving cash.
WELL....So glad I didn't!
Their wedding had 300 guests, massive centerpieces, SDE videography, 5 photographers, huge elaborate cake, etc. etc. They spent 70k on this wedding!
They had a cash bar which people were not too happy about, especially the ones who gave cash as a gift. The comments were not too good LOL. Anyways to each his own but thanks for all the input last week.
