Belle is my favorite too. Nobody saved her. She found her own way out of that village, gave herself up to save her father, and then fell in love with someone for who he truly is instead of how much money/looks he has. It's a great story. Plus, she reads a ton of books and educates herself. Go Belle.

FI is still asleep. I'm thinking about making biscuits and gravy (his favorite breakfast). I also have a new Charlaine Harris book to read. I love the Sookie Stackhouse series. I started reading them years ago, so I find it kind of hard to get into "True Blood", but I'm going to give it a try. I just can't get over how different everything is.
  • The weather forecast is no longer calling for rain on Sunday!  YAAAAY!  My rain plan might be unnecessary *fingers crossed*
  • Fingers crossed Muni.

Ariel was my favorite probably because it came out on VHS when I was 7. I watched it every day in the summer. I had reddish hair growing up and got made fun of that so I loved that she had red hair. She also wanted to be free from her dad and his controlling ways. I identified with that even through middle/high school.

I now prefer Disney/Pixar movies to princesses though.

  • Good luck, Muni! I'll cross my fingers too.

<div>I still love a good princess story. I also think Rapunzel does NOT get to join the rank of "Disney Princesses" because those are all hand drawn. </div><div>
</div><div>I'm just taking a very short break between cleaning for the shower then picking things up for the shower. Even though my sister is co-hosting the shower, she hasn't done a damn thing for it. Self centered little brat. Even if she WASN'T co-hosting - I can't see how she can just sit back and watch mom bust her buns cleaning and not offer to help out. Ugh, teenagers.</div><div>
</div><div>Anyways, this is a P&R because I've got to get dressed and look presentable. </div>
