Today is my wedding day and I need help.

So, I was NOT going to come in here today, because I'm getting married..but I'm up early and a little hurt.  I need advice.

Last night, my coordinator who has helped me with the whole wedding, someone I trust was talking to my step-dad.  My step-dad was looking at a photo album an'd said that I was going to give him a book like that after the wedding.  Her reply?  "Well, I hope the marriage outlasts the photos!"  Very sarcastically.  When she looked up and saw me, her response was, Oh.

It did NOT ruin my wedding. I'm just afraid now it will be SO awkward and honestly, I think she will take it out on me and not "do something".  I am FINE.  I'm not going to CALL OFF THE WEDDING.  I just wanted  know if I should wait to talk to someone or confront her?  Or just forget it and move on with the happiest day of my life?

Just forget it and go on with the day.  When you see her, act as if nothing happened. 

FWIW, when I was in HS I worked for a wedding photographer.  On more than one occasion, the mariage did not last until they album was in, or in a few cases, it didn't even last until we got the proofs backs (this was obviously in the day of shooting with actual film).

I'm sure it was just an off hand, poorly timed comment.  If she does this for a living, I'm sure she's seen the same as I have with pictures.

Don't let her effect your day. Sounds like she relayed a mindless comment that was offensive, but don't let it bring you down. The most important thing that should be on your mind today is getting married Forget her.

Don't take it personally.  It was definitely a stupid comment, but she probably would have said that same stupid comment no matter who the bride and groom were.

When you prove her wrong, you'll get great satisfaction out of it.  So don't let her ruin your day. I hope it is a sunny there as it is here, that you have a wonderful day and life with your new husband.

Don't say anything to her today.  Just smile and be really sweet and pleasant to her.
I honestly don't think she will have the nerve to do anything to mess up your wedding because this is her job.

But - was she an independent wedding coordinator or someone who was part of the ceremony/reception venue?

I would either write a letter or request a meeting after the wedding with her and her boss (if she has one) and outline your grievance.  What she said and did was highly unprofessional and she should be ashamed of herself.

For now, let it all roll off your back and have a fabulous wedding day -- and an even more fabulous married life!

Chalk it up to foot-in-mouth disease, social ineptness, and unprofessionalism all rolled into 1 horribly ill-timed inappropriate comment. And don't let it affect your day in the least. Enjoy, and congrats!

I'm in the minority here, but I would have fired her as soon as the words escaped her lips. When I'm paying you to help me with my wedding, I don't mean give your unwelcome and most likely unfounded opinion on the state of my relationship. But, it's a little too late now. I'm sorry she said that to you and I'd be pissed too. But don't let it ruin your day. You're getting married! And ditto PPs about going to her supervisor if she has one. Even if she doesn't you should still say something later, after the wedding.
