Dress with white highlights

I just bought a dress for a wedding I am going to next week, it has a black skirt with a white bodise and white bow at the back. Is that okay to wear even with the white? or should I return it for a different colour? HELP

If it's not all white it is technically fine.  But if you have to question it, I would wear something else.

You could always wear a cropped cardigan in black or another color, if you want to tone down the white, though I think if the skirt is black you should be just fine

It sounds to me like its a colorblock dress, which is fine. At the last wedding I went to, I wore one with a white bodice, black skirt and a green bow, and no one side-eyed me.

IMO, as long as the dress isn't predominately white, your fine.

A picture would help, but as a rule if you feel like you have to ask, it's probably better to wear something else.

It sounds like it could almost look like a white shirt with black skirt.  I think that's fine.
