Shower Today... Fingers are crossed about no drama

Many of you have seen my posts about FSIL/FBIL who may not be coming to the wedding bc their kids weren't invited nor asked to be in the wedding, making things difficult with regards to family and the WP. Additionally, the BM who went BSC at my B party on my cousin who is MOH.

My aunt is throwing my shower which is today. Not sure what it will bring. I am hoping and praying for laughter, fun, love and smiles.

Please cross your fingers and toes for me that I have one pre wedding thing go drama free. It's been a lot of sleepless nights and I have tried to concentrate on the fact that in a few short weeks I will be married and none of the crazy bs will matter. But truth be told, if something goes down today, to say I would be upset would be an understatement.

Smile, laugh, if there is wine, drink a little and have a good time. If there is drama, you will look like the calm, cool bride. Don't forget to thank your aunt profusely! Have fun!

So...how'd it go?!?

It went perfectly! There were 50 people! People I didn't know came a long way!!! FSIL started to try to make it about her apparently they bought a puppy yesterday and one of FIs aunts said "big whoop. This is not about you today." The BSC girl showed up and my mom's best friend ran interference. I couldn't tell you any details other than the food was great, wine was great, his family and friends and my family all had a great time. I feel so lucky, so loved. I am so cheesy.... So if there was major drama I have no idea about and I am happy. I am now ready to get married!
