I recently got kicked out of being a bridesmaid. I bought my dress months ago and paid for it. The bride wanted us to have a second traditional dress made in her custom but just last week finally got the material. When she received the material, I was just leaving for a 2 week vacation a 3-hr flight away. That would leave me less than 2 weeks to find a traditional tailor and get the dress made befor her wedding day. I told her it would be impossible for me to get done and that she told me we would get this material 2 months before and when I hadn't heard an update about it, I assumed she dropped the idea since last I heard she was fighting with a relative about the material. So, she told me I wasn't to be a bridesmaid since I was dropping the ball and would "photobomb" her wedding. Do I still go as a guest? And doesn't she know how to incur the bridesmaid dress expenses?!
