What kind of thank you cards should I use for gifts received at an engagement party?  I know bridal shower notes should have the bride's maiden name, but since this party is for both of us - should I get stationery with both of our names?  I was thinking of getting something with just both of our first names.  Also, is there a difference (etiquette-wise) between a flat card & a folded card?

Your stationEry does not need to have your name or monogram on it.  If you choose to use it, pre wedding, use your maiden name or monogram only.

Fold over notes are for women. Correspondence cards used to be just for men but they are accepted for couples now

I didn't have an e-party, but for my showers, I just went to Target and picked out some pretty-looking TY notes. I think they said "thank you" on the front with a pretty design. A monogram isn't necessary, but if you have one, use your maiden name.

Thank you!  I think I've spelled stationery wrong about 100x times since we've been engaged - I wish TheKnot had autocorrect, not just spellcheck.
