Thank you notes ettiquette

I attended 1 bridal shower, gave 2 wedding gifts, and 1 house warming gift since July and haven't recieved a thank you for any of them!!! I thought it was customary to send out thank you's a month after an event, if not sooner.  Am I wrong?
