Afternoon vs Evening

What's the cuttoff for afternoon vs evening on invitations?

Thanks!

For invitation wording?  I'd probably go with anything earlier than 6 as "afternoon."

If you're meaning for whether a meal has to be served, I would say "afternoon" is a wedding from 2-5:30.

I personally see anything after 5 as evening, but 5-6 is probably a grey area where it wouldn't be weird to go either way.
