BBB Registry Announcement Cards

I know its wrong to put registry information on your invitation but is it wrong to include the announcement cards BBB gives you in the envelope with the invitation?  I'm guessing yes, but thought I'd get other opinions.  Thanks!

No mention of gifts goes in/on the invitations. None whatsoever. Your instincts were correct.

I think it's okay to have the host of your bridal shower use them for the shower invitations. Some one please correct me if I'm wrong!

Include with the shower invitations, but not the wedding invitation.

Correct, do not include them with your invites.  They gave them to us when we registered. I would even feel weird if it were included in shower invitations.

Shower invitations are fine, actual wedding invitations should not mention gifts in any way.

I never knew this before. I've received many invitations to the actually wedding, not shower, with the registry info. To me it doesn't say that you have to buy someone a gift, just a friendly fyi.

I don't know why they give those things out!  We got 2 invites last year that had them!
