1. I do not have anything borrowed. I don't care, but my mom will freak out and I'd prefer to dodge that bullet. I already have earrings, a bracelet, shoes, a veil, a garter, and all other accessory-type stuff that I need. Suggestions? Anyone want to loan me something?
2. We are going to wind up having 8 or 9 tables of my friends and family at the wedding, but only 2 of FI's friends and family. All the weddings I've been to have been bride's side/groom's side, odds/evens for tables at the reception. Is there a way to organize the tables that would be less confusing for guests?
3. Do readers get a corsage/gift? We were planning on getting ours a small gift card to a store she likes, but I have no clue on the flowers.
4. FILs are hosting the RD, but are not paying for open bar. The package includes soda/iced tea/water/lemonade/coffee. Given our guests and the cost, open bar would be way expensive and we wouldn't get our money's worth out of it. My idea was for FI and I to cover a bar tab up to $X amount, but FI thinks this will offend his parents (who were thrilled that the package they're paying for includes beverages at all). There's a very obvious bar in the restaurant, and they have delicious mixed drinks that are advertised on chalkboards throughout, so I think guests will order drinks. WWYD? Menus on the tables saying what's covered? Pay for a bar tab even if FILs will be hurt?
5. We'll be having food for the BMs at the house where we're getting ready, probably around 2-3 o'clock. One is pregnant and not eating lunchmeat. What snacky-type things do you think would be good that would be light and not messy, but still filling enough that they don't hate me? (Dinner isn't until 8 or 8:30.)
TIA.
