  • Yup they suck that much. A lot of Louisiana's infrastructure was built during the Huey P. Long era, and I swear they haven't repaired most of the roads since then.

  • That's awful! You could lose a car in there!

  • No kidding. It's much worse where I grew up. The city I live in now is slowly improving all its roads. One slow ass construction project that fucks up my work route at a time.

  • I hate when road construction F's up my commute. The Big Dig just... bad bad memories.

  • It really is THAT bad. You can tell the second that you cross into LA from MS, the roads just suck, but at least they are fixing the twinspan. I HATED driving in BR when I lived there. I could have never lived in Denham Springs because of the traffic.

Parts of New Orleans will swallow your car up. I hit a "pothole" when I first started driving, that popped both of my front tires and messed up my bumper.

I could go on , but I will shut up now.

When I lived in Natchitoches, the rumor was, the road (ETA:  I-49 from Alexandria to Shreveport) was filled in with pine logs before the concrete was poured and that's why it was so "wavy/bumpy."

I HATED driving through LA to get to Texas from NC, so much so I'd take 40 all the way across and drop down through AR.

But, I loved me some French Quarter and some Cajun food and drawl (along with my relatives down there).

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
