NWR - Stupid classes!

For those of your who don't know, I'm in school to become a nurse.

Since I'm older/wiser (and paying for all of this myself), I'm trying really hard to make sure I don't slack, get awesome grades and attend all my classes.

Well, on Tuesdays, I have Spanish from 10-11, Speech from 12-2 and Sociology from 2-3.

Speech was cancelled today, and now I have an extra 2 hours before Sociology and I really just want to skip and go home because I'm still sick. BUT, I missed both of my Sociology classes last week.

BUT if I decide to skip, it means I won't have to kill 2 hours before class and 45 minutes after waiting for the bus and I can just catch the bus in half an hour, be home at 2 instead of 5.

Talk me down.

I have always had a chronic need to go to class unless there are extenuating circumstances. I'm always afraid I'll miss super special attendance extra points or something.

Go to class. If your first class had been I'd 8, I'd say, sure go on home, but you've only been there since ten. Stick it out.

Make fun of all the college freshmen that you can tell are trying to hard to fit in and stuff like that.

It sounds evil and mean. (It is)  But it will make for some good entertainment to help pass time.

I wish I could go get lunch. I have $25 to my name that has to last me til friday.

FI just started a new job, and we had to deplete our savings before he finally got into payroll, which isn't saying much because we didn't have much after an emergency trip to Arizona in Feb.

Thank God he's going to be making twice as much at this new job, and that I have some money coming to me soon, or else we wouldn't have two pennies to rub together. We originally planned for me not to work while I'm in school, but I don't think I like the whole getting money from FI thing. It feels weird.
