Re: What's Your Favorite Song...

  • That makes you smile: Lately, "Smile" by Uncle Kracker... this is strictly related to Twilight Fan-Fiction. I love it. It makes me swoon over Carlisle...

That makes you cry: "Africa" by Toto.

That makes you want to get up and shake it: "White Night" - The Postelles

That brings back good memories: "Long As I Can See The Light" - CCR

Wild card: "Four Kicks" - Kings of Leon

  • That makes you smile: Don't Push- Sublime

That makes you cry: It's a country song, but I don't know the name. Something about Johnny going fishing... Oh! I know, it's Don't Take the Girl, not sure who sings it though.

That makes you want to get up and shake it: Fat Bottom Girls- Queen

That brings back good memories: Tomorrow- Silverchair

Wild card: Is This Love- Bob Marley. LOVE.
  • Totally random, but everytime I try to quote myself, I'm taken to the Miami board...

    Anywhoo:

That makes you smile: Don't Stop Believing. I have to crank it up when it comes on in the car.

That makes you cry: It doesn't make me cry necessarily, but Boston by Augustana. It's just such a beautiful song.

That makes you want to get up and shake it:
Anything with a good beat. I'm a terrible dancer, but I always rock out in the car. All American Rejects are a go-to booty shaker

That brings back good memories: You're my mate by Right Said Fred. Brings back lots of good drunken college night house party memories

Wild card: To make you feel my love by Adele. Gorgeous, gorgeous song

  • That makes you smile: Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

That makes you cry: Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World, Good Mother by Jann Arden, I'll Remember by Madonna.  Anything by Bon Jovi or Bryan Adams can make me really sad or happy depending on the day.  My mom loved those two.  Sometimes Could You Be Loved makes me cry - happily though - reminds me of H.

That makes you want to get up and shake it: Telephone by Lady Gaga.  And that Calle Ocho song... makes me want to do a hula dance of some sort...

That brings back good memories: Kids by MGMT reminds me of my mini-moon - I showed that song to H and we listened to it on repeat the whole way to Banff.  And KOL's 3rd Album reminds me of last summer's roadtrip/honeymoon.

Wild card: Anything by Florence + the Machine.  Seriously.  When I listen to it, I just FEEL it.  I can't describe it, but it's been a long time since music has made me feel that way.  The whole album is like this.

    "It's shart week." -georgiabride
"This post is seriously retarded." -Stackeye210
