Save-the-Date and website RSVPs

Ok I know what most of you are going to say.....bottom line if someone gets a save-the-date they get an invitation.

That being said.....my save the dates have the address to our wedding website so people can get more information as soon as possible.  I also have the option to allow RSVPs on the website.  I'm wondering if I really have to send an invitation to someone if they RSVP no on the website before the invitations go out?

Also if I DO need to send anyone saying No on the website RSVP an invitation, what's the point of having website RSVPs these days anyway?  If it's not going to help me hone my list of invitations should I just hide the RSVP feature (because i can hide it if i want)?
