What random things do you find really attractive in men (or women, even)?

Example: I just found out this guy I work with did a full Ironman triathlon in 10 hours and change, and I was like "that...is pretty hot."

There's a chick here at work who rides a motorcycle in to work sometimes. Hawt.

I think being attracted to intelligent men is pretty common.  Evolution-wise, it doesn't make much sense to date a total idiot.

Ditto volunteer work.

Men with animals, too.  Something about a guy with a kitten?  Totally attractive.

I have always thought the bad boy life of the party was SO hot. I am not talking the guy who can drink the most beers. I am talking the guy who would like organize games, dancing, challenges, and make every one want to join and have fun regardless of who they know at the party. He has to be a little bad though too

Stack, I'm pretty sure I've never looked at FI's calves.  I probably couldn't pick them out of a lineup.  Maybe I should.

I like glasses on a guy.  Cool glasses, not gross old man ones.

Fishy, Mike had a sweet Jeep when I met him.

AND the first time we hung out he taught me all about the physics of traffic control which I thought was pretty hawt. (FYI - yes, it really is one d-bag that makes the whole highway go 50 even though there is no reason for it.)

Legs of in shape women.  Something about the hair on mens legs that just keep them off my hot list (although I am glad FI doesn't have his legs!!!)

It may not be very random, but make me laugh, and I will probably love you forever.  I think some of my biggest crushes came out of the fact that the guy was just so FUNNY. 

I never dated too many tattooed men before, but FI's ink gets me a little hot and bothered

Brie - I don't know why I just always admire calves on a guy.  I also love nice shoes on a man so maybe that's why I pay attention to the legs.  LOL. 

I did date a man with cankles once and it bothered me to no end, maybe that's where my obsession stems from.

I've always been attracted to the "nice" guys that treat ladies well. Lucky for me; I feel terrible for my girlfriends that always fall for the heartbreakers.

I'm also attracted to competence in any form, but particularly the way DH can totally hunt & camp & ride horses and all of that stuff...he could totally provide for us if we lived on the frontier, and I think that's totally hot.

I'm definitely no evolutionary biologist, manda, I just think it makes sense to be attracted to smarty pantses. 

But then again, plenty of women date idiots, so I could very well be wrong.

Half sleeves on men. Or a little tattoo on a man's wrist. I love them - especially if worn with a shirt with turned-up sleeves.

In women, long dark hair is hot. I wish I could pull off masses of like dark chocolate hair. I think it's super sexy. I'd just look ill.

Freckles. Freckles just do it for me. Maybe it's because I have like 5 on my entire body, but I find freckles really attractive on men and women.

Ditto whoever said something about tattoos. FI has one on his shoulder and one on his bicep and I love them. They're so nerdy and fit his personality.

If they are close to their family, I find that really attractive.

Absolutely, Brie- it does make sense! To me anyway. But then, I'm the chick who once got all hot and bothered when I walked into H's office and saw an incredibly complicated math formula on the board that he was "just messing around with"

Also, I have only been in long-term relationships with Republicans.  I'm not sure why, considering I'm fairly liberal-leaning.
