I don't have a lot of guests coming to our wedding in FL, some of them making the flight down to FL from MD. All of our guests know my fiance and I very well. We thought it would be a good idea to make a donation to the ASPCA (being members and strong supporters of animal rights) instead of giving favors. The ASPCA will give us cards stating "that in leu of favors the bride and groom have decided to make a donation in your favor to the ASPCA". I love that idea, but is it rude to not give the guests a favor for a thank you for coming to FL to our wedding. My female guests (which is the majority) I am giving real orchid leis.
