I have never been close to my mother and she never aproved of my choice of BF.
When I moved in with my FI 3 months after starting to date him she started to resent us.
Now we have been living together for almost 5 years, she has lerned to deal with the situation. When we got engaged i didnt call her to tell her the news since i figured it wouldnt be sumthing that would bring her happiness.
Now that we have settled a wedding date i have to tell her and i dont know how she feels about it.
How do i ask he to either be involed or chip in. I dont expect her to chip in but i know my FPIL will be chiping in and that she would be even more pissed if i didnt ask her.
How should I go about with this? Should i just go up and tell her or send her an invite? I really dont know how to go about with this.
Any tip would help!!!
