I lurked on the GP board once and it just seemed like everyone posting their charts. I have starting lurking on T-TTC though and it seems nice enough. I had my weight loss TTC board but I am officially the only person who hasnt gotten pregnant yet out of the group I joined with, so that's really depressing

amys, I'm at work. I work at a Holiday Inn on the weekends, and I have 5 hours to go! It's a very slow day.

Katie, I'm sure it is I'm so sorry you're having so much trouble. My SIL went through the same thing, but the first round of Clomid worked for her. How's the house comign along?

The house is super awesome Today I power washed the deck (turns out the railings are white, not black, EW) and finally figured out how to pull the awning down. The customer service guy said it was installed in 2000. So for being 10 years old and unopened for 3 years it's in great shape, just a little mildewy.

I love reading TN Sex and Romance if I'm bored. There are some kooky posts over there.

Yeah I like S&R too - its a bit of a different crowd.  I think TN is fun because people talk about EVERYTHING and there are not black and white issues like on here and TB.  I'm spreading myself out a bit.

Thanks Whit.  I'm really hoping he's just being paranoid.  I kinda feel that if they were going to fire him, they would have done it already.  But he's pretty convinced it's going to happen, I'm guessing he'll find out tomorrow.

Coming from E, the TTGP board in TB seems very (sometimes too) nice. Very welcoming and educational. Of course, I cant speak of the parenting boards, though.

The abbrivations can be tough at first. It took me a couple weeks to learn them (or at least most of them). The bump glossary helps, or sometimes I just open an new window and google, its usually right.

I honestly haven't noticed anything *too* crazy yet, but I only popped in on a few of the boards on TB (AP and one other) and TN (TIP and S&R).

My mom once read a "conversation" I had with another ttc friend. She said it was definitely secret code. Feel free to pm me if you have any you can't figure out :)

I have a baby. When I first joined TB there was about 5 girls that were SUPER mean to everyone (and not even in their first tri- i think theyre lifes might have just been very boring) so i deleted the account! i find the girls here so nice though. hopefully you have a better experience then i did. (no one was mean to me but i hate seeing people be put down who are looking for support!)

I think reading bps is what scares me the most out of posting over there. TTC, pregnancy and having kids is such an emotionally hard thing to begin with, but the visciousness shown in a lot of the secrets scares me.

they should have a page for people who just want to support eachother and a page for "snarkiness" so the people who want to be mean to eachother all day and let our their anger can and the people who want the support and help can talk to eachother nicely.
