So I was reading the Cincinnati Wedding magazine that I was given. In one article, they asked planners questions. One question was "My fiance and I already have everything we need for our home. Is it okay to ask for cash, and if so, how do we do it?"
Planner #1: You should generally spread this by word of mouth through your parents and/or wedding party. However, there will still be people who want to give you a gift, so make a small registry.
Planner #2: It is rude to ask for cash in any form. If you must, please include a small note with your invitation.
Are you freaking kidding me? Doesn't Planner #2 kind of contradict herself! Oy Vey!
Anyway, thought it was funny. This is a P&R, since it's time to go home and snuggle beneath the blankets.
