FB question / Help please

Is there a way to filter what some of my FB friends see?  I don't want some of my work "friends" seeing certain things.

Basically, can you filter by individual person? If so, how?

I've never tried that either. I have blocled people from my news feeds because they update their status or post things a bajillion times a day.

I do it all the time - I have a list set for people I'd prefer not be able to see my site, so those people can't see my site listed on my profile and also, when I post a status update or a link that has to do with my site, I click on the little lock, which lets me exclude that group from seeing those specific updates, as well as specific profile information.

I have a specific group for work because I don't want them to see if I update my status in the middle of a work day.
