Parents paying for part of wedding--invitation wording help?

My parents are paying for the catering and rental fee of our reception, but my fiance and I are paying for everything else involved in our wedding, including the ceremony.  How do I word the invitations?  Help??

If it were me I'd just list my parents as hosts.

However if you want to list you and your FI along with your parents as hosts, I'd go with:

Together with Mr. and Mrs. Bride's parents

FI's firstname FI's lastname

FWIW, OOT's wording is definitely the traditional wording and the one I'd use.

Thanks OOT!  That photo is now 6 weeks old!  I think I've put on a few pounds since then.  :-)

We've had a busy summer so far - went to OH to see BIL and SIL, to NH for a friend's wedding and ended our summer of weddings yesterday.  Now we're scanning Consumer Reports to figure out which items to put on a baby registry.

How are you?  How is M and the fam?

I'm still looking at places in Massachusetts.  Think I found a good one In Pine Hills, that's in Plymouth.  15 miles away so there's breathing room for all.

I'm so out of the loop - I don't think I knew baby #2 was a boy!  Send pics my way when you can.  :-)

If it makes you feel better, I didn't call my mother "Mommy" until my brother came alone.  Until then I'd just call her by her firstname.

Brooks was born on May 2, 7 minutes after they left their house.  She delivered on the ER gurney. They didn't make Boston, obviously.

He looks exactly like M and I promise pictures.
