No. Just no.

Yes, baby related, but incredibly awful and good to make fun of.

Re: No. Just no.

  • Oh, hellfuckingno! I don't let my 11 year old daughter wear heels, and the only makeup she's allowed yet is mascara and lip gloss.
  • My mom only let me have a bikini when I was 7 or 8 (not much better, really, but at least I wasn't a toddler), and it was full coverage, believe you me.

Confession: my mom also had me take modeling classes when I was 10. I learned a lot about poise. We had to have a pair of heels to walk in. The selection of heels in a size 4 wasn't great, but I ended up with purple suede pumps. Awesome! That was my "first" pair of high heels (I obviously had, like, 1 inch mary janes for Easter and stuff before that) and my mom cried. If not for that class, she wouldn't have let me wear them so young. I didn't wear them out of the house otherwise. (My mom also only let me wear makeup when I got to seventh grade, and then it was just a little brown mascara, pink blush and pink lip gloss.)

  • I searched for a month straight looking for plain brown boots for my daughter.  Apparently they only have plain brown boots with heels OR brown boots with stupid cartoon characters on them.  I shopped on the internet and in every store I could think of before I finally just found plain brown boots.  It was so frustrating!!!

I got a lot of hand me down things from my BFF, all the shoes at that time had heels on them.  My daughter was just learning to walk, how are heels going to help her?  It frustrates me to no end.  I want to keep my daughter young as long as possible.

AND - MIL bought her a bikini.  The kind with a triangle top.  Really?  NO.  She never wore it.
  • I think the pictures of the poor babies on that website are the worst part.

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
  • Jess, that is both incredibly creepy and oddly amusing.

Worst part: all of the comments seemed to think it was cute.

There are no words!  Whomever invented those is a moron.
  • Soooooo weird.
  • The heels are pretty ridiculous.

But I like baby bellys in bikinis.  I think it's cute.  And no, not the triangle top ones.  But the kind that have ruffles and are cut normally and are cute.
  • Something like this isn't terrible:

It's the triangle ones that are horrid.
  • I just don't know why people want their kids to grow up so fast. There will be time for high heels, makeup, credit cards, and bikinis, but its not before your child can walk and talk, and make her own choices.

The parents who think these are cute will be the ones 10-15 years from now, wondering where they went wrong, when their daughter is acting like an adult and not a teenager. Yep, parent, it was when you let your baby where high heels, that is where you went wrong.

  • Okay, I'll confess to putting a bikini on my daughter, because I couldn't find a 1 piece that fit her body shape. If it were long enough for her torso, it would be WAY too baggy. With a bikini, my 9 year-old could fit quite nicely in a size 6.
