How to address children attending

I love kids, I have one and plan to have more... that being said, me and the fiance are getting married at a museum/really old victorian house. I have decided that I would rather not have children in attendance because the venue just isn't all that child friendly, but I'm struggling with how to pass that message on to guests without sounding harsh or anything... any ideas??

Re: How to address children attending

  • You don't point out who is not invited.  Address the invitations only to those invited.  If people RSVP with little ones, call and politely explain that you are having an adult only event.

It is generally recommened that breastfeeding infants are the exception to the no-kids rule.

Holy Crap. We survived the first year!
