We are planning on having our Hawaiian destination wedding on September 10, 2011... aka 9/10/11 and want to get our "save the dates" out ASAP so our guests can plan in advance but, are still in the process of ironing out details on the specific location. We know it will be in Maui but I am worried that if I pick a specific date and it doesn't work with the venue we decide on and then change it to say a week later/before it'll look silly.
Is it strange to send a "save the month/year" instead? Or, should I just wait?
