We are having a hard time keeping the guest list to a minimum. Mainly because my mom wants to invite everyone! Her long time friends that she has known forever are higher up on the list than some of my good friends, because she calls them forever friends. Whatever that means! She also insists on inviting everyone involved in the ceremony, ie the soloist, organist, wedding director, etc. I am ok with inviting the pastor, but is it really necessary to invite all of these people that we are paying to "work" our wedding? I have not met the church people but my mom works at the church so she knows them much better.
