I'm getting married this summer and we are sending our invitations the first week of May. It's going to be a pretty casual wedding, but it's out of town (though not "destination") so we sent email Save-the-Dates to our guests several months ago so they could start thinking about travel plans. As the wedding has gotten closer there are some additional people we've decided we'd really like to invite. Is it okay to invite them, even though they didn't get a Save-the-Date?? Or will that seem tacky? I'm pretty sure they don't know about the specific Save-the-Dates we emailed out, but Save-the-Dates are so common these days that they probably assumed they were not invited since they haven't gotten anything. Thoughts?
