GIfts for brides parents!

My parents are paying for the entire wedding and I want to get them a really nice gift, but I have no idea what to buy/do. I've thought about sending them to Florida in December (they are from philly), but that might be ridiculously expensive for my FH and I to do.  They travel often to around the area, so I didn't want to do something redundant. HELP!

Re: GIfts for brides parents!

  • Could you get them a gift cert to their favorite airline? Or a credit at a favorite getaway location?

Don't forget that a loving, heartfelt thank you note goes a very long way.
  • We got my parents an iPad. Perhaps nontraditionalbut something I know Mum has been wanting for a long time....
"Always be kinder than you think is necessary, for you never know what personal battles people are fighting."
  • If they travel often but don't have status on an airline, you could get them some day passes to the airline club in the airport.  That would be a little lux touch for their next trip(s).  Also, don't worry about this too much.  Write a nice note to them and get them some framed photos (or make them an album) after the wedding.
  • Most people I know do albums for the parents.
  • We are putting together a huge photo book for both families but if my parents had paid for everything I totally would have found a way to spring for at least a $1k or more gift.

You could get them a giftcard to their preferred hotel chain and let them pick their own destination.
